Ayye Captain! Part 1

It’s Monday & it’s the holiday, Yeay!

Dya & I went to Logos Hope, it’s a bookstore on a ship and I think it’s quite awesome because the people who worked there are all unpaid volunteers. Sometimes I wonder, are there any paid volunteer workers? because if they do, most probably I would want to do it.

On our way to the ship, I kept on telling Dya that we can sing the song, “I’m on a boat! I’m on a mutherfucking boat!” But too bad I didn’t literally do it. When we reached there, the queue was freaking long as the sun was right up on our heads and just imagine our judgement day? It is told that the sun would be right over the head.

Seriously the queue was damn long and I was practically bathing my own sweat. haha. The kid infront of me was quite annoying, I feel like kicking her ass. After we pay the entrance fee…WE WAIT SOME MORE!!

But this time, we were under the tent so it’s cool. So, we took some time to look at the map.

When we reached inside, you can expect to sit on a lifeboat where they talk about the purpose of the ship and such. It’s cool yo! They explained that because they are going from country to country, they sell books in units. For instance;

I only bought two books and I have not even read it yet, I think it is still in the bag. We went during the public holidays so there were so many people and the place were packed with people that I hardly can move.

Of course, this would be the time where the citizens of Kuching DOESN’T KNOW WHAT “EXCUSE ME”MEANS! Then, there’s;

and we head to the International Cafe but there were a long queue. So, we decided to just grab some food elsewhere but we took a few shots outside the boat.

Then, Dya brought me to Backerei, it’s a new pastry shop opposite the Four Points Hotel.

I haven’t even sit down and enjoy the environment there yet, so I got nothing to comment except for the;

The texture of the pastries are nice, you should eat it right away. Do not fridge it, do not keep it, you eat it after you buy it, don’t keep it for too long. Lol. The thing being said is because I kept mine overnight and forgot about it until the next day.

Anyways, too lazy to type more.

Later days,

Double Zee.
